At Domaine Bois Chéri, visit the tea factory and taste the tea produced at the Chalet in a charming setting. Finally, head for Domaine de Saint Aubin. Here, the Maison de la Vanille (Vanilla House) shows you how vanilla is processed. The Maison du Rhum invites you to discover all the stages of rum production. End the day with a stroll through the estate’s botanical gardens and farm. A choice of lunch is available at each of the three estates.

Le Domaine de Saint Aubin is amidst sugar cane plantations. First and oldest producer of agricultural rums and now of gins having received worldwide recognitions, made out of sugarcane juice in Mauritius. Le Bois Chéri tea estate, within Le Domaine de Bois Chéri is one of the largest tea producers in Mauritius operating since 1892 and no pesticides are used in the tea plantations.
The tea tasting done at Le Chalet du Domaine de Bois Chéri and the exquisite meals served at Le Bois Chéri restaurant offer a charming hilltop setting with panoramic and ocean views of the south coast of the island. There is no other way to experience its beautiful greatness than stop and breathe it in.

Mauritian Culinary Experience – Full Day with Lunch
I had the most calm, relaxing, beautiful day in the middle of a breathtaking garden in this charming colonial family house with a long history. Akhilesh, the chef of the estate, brought me to shop for ingredients in the local market, and we made a lovely curry together. All the crew was kind and very helpful, and walking in the bird-singing, flower-perfumed garden cleaned all the stress out of me. Thank you for the beautiful experience!

Bisham, our driver took us from the cruise port to seaplane on the other side of the island. He gave us an unexpected short tour which we loved.
