The history of Mauritius comes to life before your eyes in this timeless place. An exciting 5,000 square meter path and 10 interactive thematic areas invite you to discover the incredible saga of women and men from different continents who built the country through hard work, shaping Mauritius into the harmonious, welcoming, and multicultural island it is today. The enormous machinery also allows for an understanding of the production of sugar crystals and numerous by-products, including rum, bagasse for electricity, and natural fertilizers. It is an opportunity to explore the engineering prowess of a people who have successfully valorized their precious sugarcane and advanced the sugarcane industry at the forefront of agro-technological progress and energy transition.
ENTRANCE TICKET
Entrance ticket includes the visit and the tastings of over 30 sugar cane products in the Village Boutik, including natural brown sugars, New Grove’s 5-star rums, vanilla, and exotic jams and honeys.

Mauritian Culinary Experience – Full Day with Lunch
I had the most calm, relaxing, beautiful day in the middle of a breathtaking garden in this charming colonial family house with a long history. Akhilesh, the chef of the estate, brought me to shop for ingredients in the local market, and we made a lovely curry together. All the crew was kind and very helpful, and walking in the bird-singing, flower-perfumed garden cleaned all the stress out of me. Thank you for the beautiful experience!

Bisham, our driver took us from the cruise port to seaplane on the other side of the island. He gave us an unexpected short tour which we loved. The driver knew right where to go and helped us find the seaplane location. Great follow-up from time of booking to day of activity. I would highly recommend.
