The history of Mauritius comes to life before your eyes in this timeless place. An exciting 5,000 square meter path and 10 interactive thematic areas invite you to discover the incredible saga of women and men from different continents who built the country through hard work, shaping Mauritius into the harmonious, welcoming, and multicultural island it is today. The enormous machinery also allows for an understanding of the production of sugar crystals and numerous by-products, including rum, bagasse for electricity, and natural fertilizers. It is an opportunity to explore the engineering prowess of a people who have successfully valorized their precious sugarcane and advanced the sugarcane industry at the forefront of agro-technological progress and energy transition.
ENTRANCE TICKET
Entrance ticket includes the visit and the tastings of over 30 sugar cane products in the Village Boutik, including natural brown sugars, New Groveās 5-star rums, vanilla, and exotic jams and honeys.
